“ What a great way to start our weekend in Palm Desert! Food was excellent. We ordered the pulpo chicharrones, roasted beet salad, Chamorro & Mole, and coconut flan. Each item did not disappoint. Service was great, thanks to Alex who was so friendly and helpful. He offered the house made hot sauce and it paired well with the pulpo chicharrones appetizer. Ambiance was warm and inviting with a semi intimate vibe. I highly recommend this place if you're in the Palm Desert area. Prices are reasonable with a casual dining experience with excellent food and service! ”

“ This was our first time here a couple of co workers and myself really enjoyed our lunch here. The service was phenomenal. The owner came over to our table and had a good conversation with us and we complimented him on the food and drinks. They were very attentive and nice. The shrimp tacos were so flavorful the fruit salsa on top was the best part. The fries were also very good and flavorful soft on the inside and crispy on the outside just how I like my fries and with seasoning. The margarita was so yummy as well I'm not a fan of alcoholic beverages but this one was great I'm glad the server recommended we all get one. Overall great experience and very clean will definitely go back for dinner with my husband. ”

“ This restaurant is one of the best kept secrets in the valley. First of all the experience from the receptionist to the waiters and food ordering is exceptional and extremely service oriented. The Chef there is great. They have just started back their happy hour lunch. The El Burro and the BBQ Salmon sandwich is off the charts. The cocktails are good and not watered down. The dinner menu is even better. If I am hungry their Guachinango ( flash fried red snapper) is phenomenal. Presented as the whole fish and there is plenty left to take home. The oyster appetizer features very plump oysters and can be filling. The entrees are all good. The only one that is hard for me is the Shrimp Diablo too spicy for me even though I finished it but not before consuming 3 glasses of tea. Everything else is a great experience. Hope you try the place and enjoy the ambience. ”

“ Ok Service is once again outstanding. Nothing changed from my first review. Just want add some new dishes I tried tonight. The Lobster Guacamole- citrusy Guacamole topped with what taste like flashes fried lobster pieces tossed in a slightly spicy sauce. Very well balanced dish. The only complaint was, wishes I had more toasted bread to eat with it. Now dessert... the Carlota... OMG. Think tiramisu but much lighter and fruity. Sweet, slightly bitter from the orange zest and a bit of tartness from the orange pieces. Complex but amazingly simple. One of the owner and chef spoke with us and told us his story of how the Carlota was put on the menu. ”

“ I don't know how and when I bookmarked this place but finally ended up here. For a seafood place in the middle of the desert, it's amazing. It had some things on the menu that I've never seen before and it's all amazing. I came with Johnathan and Ryan. We ordered the guacamole with lobster and thought the lobster would be cut up pieces in the guac but it's not. It's grilled and on top of the guac. It was awesome. Never had lobster in my guac. The chips are homemade and they're amazing. Really light and crispy. I ordered the gazpacho with tuna. Never had a "flavored" gazpacho. It's awesome. There's a ridiculous amount of tuna in it. This could have been a meal in itself. Finally, the one thing I was so amazed to see and I've been to so many coastal countries and restaurants. They had a whole octopus on the menu! I've never had a whole octopus so of course ordered it! It's a lot of octopus. A lot. I gave a leg each to Johnathan and Ryan. And I was still so full. The octopus is cooked perfectly. I don't know how they kept that same tender consistency throughout the entire thing, especially the legs where it completely differs in thickness but it's cooked perfectly. They told us they had a 5-6 hour prep time cooking the octopus? Octopus is their specialty btw. There are octopus art objects hanging from the walls. Finally the dishes that Johnathan and Ryan, they said were really good also, but I unfortunately don't remember what they ordered. Some more fish dishes if I remember correctly. So absolutely give this place a try if you're in the area. ”
